G-G PULLING THE WRONG REIN

Governor General Quentin Bryce advocates the introduction of quotas to ensure more women are appointed as directors on boards of Australian companies. As soon as this happens, women will lose all credibility in the business world. Everyone will be saying women got to the top only because of legislation, not ability. Crap idea by someone who clearly slept her way to the top.

How easy is it for people to just check into rehab to forget all their troubles? Also, for the relevant news agencies that keep referring to the girl as the 'St.Kilda schoolgirl', she's not from St.Kilda and she doesn't go to school.

VB SCORE CASH

How are VB still allowed to advertise a competition that has finished? Surely there's some sort of advetising standard issue here. The ad clearly says in small print 'every day during the Ashes', upon checking their website, the competition has indeed closed, so why are they still allowed to use those ads?

MY BEEF

Not sure what Coles are trying to say with their No Added Hormones guff about their beef at the moment.
Are they implying their major competitor does add hormones?
Are they saying they used to add hormones, but don't anymore?
Or is it like saying 'tap water with no added dogshit', i.e. it's just used as a bullshit selling point for something that never existed in the first place.
It appears to have come from nowhere and looks like it's a deflection of some kind that just makes me even MORE suspicious of the guys and girls down at Coles HQ.

WHAT'S A NATIONAL?

Could someone tell the National Party that they are being used for their numbers only and that they don't actually have any power in government or respect as a viable political party. If they weren't in bed with the Liberal party, they would be getting less nods than the Sex Party.
