Virginia Life
Hey girlies! I actually have some time to sit and do some blog updating, so I thought I'd update this one as well. Life here has been pretty crazy the past few months. We took a crazy 17 day trip to Arizona, Utah and California back in July. I was lucky enough to get to see Amanda and her adorable little guy (why did we not take a picture?!) in their cute house. Andrew started a new job, which he loves, but is farther away so his commute is now 30 minutes instead of 10. Then school started and now I have to get 2 kids ready for the bus at 7:30 instead of one. Our school district has the elementary schools starting before middle and high school, which has it's ups and downs. I like that they get home at 2:40, but don't like getting them on the bus at 7:30. Kayla has a little preschool co-op with 2 other kids in her nursery class twice a week. She loves it and I enjoy having some quiet time a few times a week (except for when it's my turn to teach).
I have been keeping myself busy with doing a whole lot of nothing for the past few months. I am pregnant again! I'm currently 16 weeks along. I have been really sick and basically spend most of my time either in bed or on the couch. It's starting to get better, but it's still there. What makes it worse is the prescription nausea stuff doesn't help anymore. My poor family has had to deal with me for a long time. I don't handle being sick very well. I've just accepted the fact that my house is going to look awful until I can kick this nausea. Ignore the horrid background of this picture. Our office is a giant mess (can I blame Andrew for that since he spends all his time in there?). Baby is due the end of April. We have the ultrasound scheduled for next month.
That's pretty much it for us. I've been able to keep in contact with Amanda, but I haven't heard much from the rest of you. How goes life?

Amanda in labor!
I got a text from Amanda this morning. She's at the hospital! Another new rockette baby on the way!
In other news, we will be in Utah for a few days at the end of the month. June 25th-29th. If any of you will be around, I would love to see you!

HAHAHA!!!
So, I was looking through this and noticed that my last post was titled: Been gone a while. That was in may of last year!!! Wow. I am good. I am doing pretty well though really! I love living in Salt Lake- for now, would not like to live here permanently- especially in an apartment with cinderblock walls. Brings ya back huh?! Yeah- not a permanent solution for me :) The saddest part is that most of my "court"friends are graduating this year- or their husbands are- which is great for them, and sad for me. But, we will be joining their ranks next year. I absolutely adore my little Lily- she is doing really well. She has had no more seizures, but we found out she also has kidey reflux so we have her on 2 meds every day. One prevents seizures and hopefully in a couple more months she will be able to stop taking this- and the other helps prevent UTIs so she doesn't get kidney damage. We will check back in a year to see if she needs surgery.
My kids are in a headstart preschool which is AWESOME!!! I think I like that they go more than they do ;-) Other than that, I have been trying to keep my house clean and laundry done and eating healthy and loosing baby weight. I am so proud of myself- I have been exercising and eating pretty healthily for the longest stretch of my life. Don't mock- I know my baby is only 4 months old and that is not that long of a stretch- and who cares if to date my personal running record is 16 minutes without stoping :)- but I am proud of all of it because it is a personal record nonetheless. And someday I WILL fit back into my old jeans- not the ones pre-baby-(that ideal ship has LONG since sailed)-just the ones pre-Lily. I had no idea that bone structure could change so much. Oh well. I will be perfectly fine to fit into my "new" old jeans! Woot!

I am pregnant!
Hey Rockettes,
It has been awhile. I thought I would write you and tell you that I am pregnant. I am 14 weeks now. John and I are very excited.
To tell you the truth it has been a very hard pregnancy. With being pregnant I can't take all my normal migraine medicine. I have ended up in the ER three times this month. I have had a hard time working with doctors because my headache doctor is not in my insurance network. I have been trying to get a new doctor but everything is booked until May or later.
My insurance is not very good so our deductible is $4000 and the out of pocket max is $6000. We have already hit that. One visit to the ER is over $2000.
I have missed a lot of work and hope I don't miss to much because the insurance is in my name. If you could keep me in your prayers I would love that.
I know you all have experienced pregnancy and now I respect you all so much more. I don't know how you all have done it more than once.

I am headed to Cambodia
So I am finally going to fulfill a life time dream of going to Cambodia. John and I are headed to Cambodia November 17 to December 5. We will be in Cambodia for a week and we will also go to Singapore, Thailand, and Burma. We will visit my mission companion in Cambodia and also my good friend's parents (the Moons) who are mission presidents in Cambodia. I am so excited. Wish us luck that we don't get sick.
